Subscribing to The Hank Lazard Show Podcast

The directions here are for subscribing to The Hank Lazard Show Podcast using itunes. You can use another podcatcher application if you want, but if you are using one of those, you probably just need the RSS URL (see below).

If you are an idiot...

Note: podcasts are large mp3 files. A typical episode of the Hank Lazard Show is 25MB or more. If you have a dial-up connection that is not on all the time, downloading these files will be rough. It will take... i don't know... many many hours. If you have a highspeed connection, you are in good shape.

Step 1

Download itunes. You will need version 4.9 or later. In the menu on the left, there should be a podcast icon. If there isn't, you need to download the new version at www.itunes.com.

Step 2

Launch itunes. In the top menu, under Advanced, select Subscribe to podcast...
A box should pop up asking for an URL address. Type in http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheHankLazardShow. Click OK.

Step 3

I guess that's it. Now every time you launch itunes, it will check to see if a new episode of THe Hank Lazard SHow Podcast is available. If it is, it will download it. There are a bunch of itunes podcast preferences that you can fool around with, but we are not experts on that. You can send Hank or Jason an email and they will try to help you out with any troubles.
